Under the banner of “Learning from our past, visualizing our future: winning solutions for the digital dome”, the IMERSA SUMMIT 2012 will feature Fulldome film screenings, sessions, and panels on the art and science of immersive cinema, in which Ilusa Media will be taking part. The panels will debate, among many other things, business model development, shooting methods, and distribution models. Also, the Summit is a great opportunity to network with fellow participants from the fulldome world.

As part of Ilusa Medias commitment to edu-taiment, `Victor and Garu´ is also aimed at parents and educators. `Victor and Garu´ stimulates aptitudes for geography, shapes, natural sciences and also prepares the ground for literature and art, and it includes knowledge of other cultures and other times in history.

`Supernovas Company´ tells the hilarious adventure of these two characters as they both try to understand the puzzle of supernovas, each in their own way – the astronomer with his telescopes and computers and his day-dreaming sidekick with an attempt to woo the scheming Vampirina, the leader of an army of vampire stars that cause havoc in the supernova factory that kindly Flamius keeps in a hidden-away corner of the galaxy.

In short, `Supernovas Company´ tells an original and fun story to delight everyone.

The main objective of `Little ABC´ is to arouse the interest of children in knowledge in general. The topics covered are fully accessible for children and seek to raise awareness and their senses, and boost their understanding of their surroundings in a world that is full of so many questions. To do this, different resources have been used, such as character animation, aesthetics, music and songs.

Ilusa Media collaborates in this project with the German company Softmachine, world leader in this kind of content and producer of the global fulldome blockbuster  `Kaluoka´hina´. It also involves strategic partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute, the MP3 creator.

`The Life of Trees´ is both fun and educational as it explains the inner world of trees and shows the importance of plants for life on Earth. The characters, along with the technical characteristics, provide a fascinating visual environment that supports the educational aspect of the show.

The film will premiere during the Baton Rouge Festival in Louisiana (USA) next June 2012.

Fulldome Factory is the place where new developments are presented and you can track Ilusa Media productions. It is expected to be a point where you can watch trailers, discover the stories they tell and meet the team behind them; and that is just the start. In addition, Fulldome Factory aims to be a direct communication route with the world of fulldome.

`Victor and Garu´ is an invitation to travel for children and adults in the company of a child and a stork who show us the importance of friendship and solidarity in life´s projects. `Supernovas Company´ is a cosmic tragicomedy for children written in verse that takes place in the supernova factory located in a hidden-away corner of the galaxy. `Little ABC´ is aimed at smaller children (from 3 to 7 years old) and comprises three titles lasting 7 minutes. Each one develops themes in a way that arouses interest, stimulates the senses, and boosts the understanding children have of their surroundings in a world that is full of so many questions.
